That was a fun gallery to case.....her style is so different from mine that it is a challenge for me - one of the things I LOVE about her stamping is all the backgrounds she makes with like blocking different colors and so I chose a card like that to case:
I used the same layout, similar colors, different stamps and added paper piercing and white gel pen accents. I used a sponge dauber with my riding hood red pad to dye the new SU white satin ribbon....and I am thrilled to know I could have this ribbon in any color now!! YIPPEE - LOVE it!! The only nasty part on this card was cutting out that flower....yikes, about half way thru you feel like cutting it into little pieces and heaving it into the ocean.....anyway - hope you like my rendition of her wonderful card!

Gorgeous...the colors are so vibrant. Beautiful ribbon! I've felt like throwing a few of my cuttings into the ocean, also. You did a very good job with yours.

Well that annoying cutting certainly paid off! Beautifully, in fact! And your faux stitching looks real ... I had to look twice! tfs

First of all, Karen, I hereby give you the Patience and Excellence in Cutting Award for the perfect cutting you did with the flowers! Second, I absolutely LOVE the beautiful color combination and blocking with faux stitching. Third, I would've never guessed you used a dauber and ink to color that beautiful ribbon. The white satin ribbon looks like a must have to me! This is an all-around GORGEOUS card!
