Her painting of The Retiring Ones, was my inspiration for my card. I choose to have my flowers be a little earlier in the season while there were still butterflies flying around.
I needed to think of something warm, because they are calling for 7-8 inches of snow this afternoon.
I stamped my brushed florals stamps with summer sun and glorious green inks. I colored the flowers in with my prisma colored pencils. I then used chalk to fill in the white spaces. I then stamped the butterflies using black stazon. I cut the one butterfly and layered the wings. I added brads in the corners. What do you think?

love your vibrant colors , and those butterflies.. wow.. this all came together just wonderful... I love it..
I almost did sunflowers, thanks for the inspiration.. I may have to try another one today.
