It was tough deciding which painting to take inspiration from - what a gorgeous bunch of artwork. Always makes me feel good when people like Glenda, and Michelle Zindorf, who are artists to BEGIN with, take on stamping - or enjoy stamping because it makes it REAL ART to me somehow.... These paintings are just awesome! I am going to check out her SCS gallery now.....Okay - I cannot begin to figure out how to get the painting I chose linked without linking the whole blog, but the one I chose is named IMAGINE TULIPS, and it's at the bottom of the first page of her blog.....and here it is:
I finished my card at 2:00 am, but thought gee, wait till morning to post it and get a little more sleep that way......so here it is - I LOVE the way my card turned out- I rarely say I love my own work, (outloud to everyone anyway) but TODAY I LOVE THIS CARD.....I WANT TO EAT IT FOR LUNCH......Hope you like it too!! (after looking at the entire gallery - I have to say, I could eat most of those cards for lunch......when given GREAT INSPIRATION, we really reach the mark, eh???)

You are funny! Maybe we ought to call it each other since we are both up at that time. I went to bed at 5am, but completed my card about 3am. I was too tired to upload it. Ok, on to your beautiful card. I really love the look of the lighting in the b/g behind the tulips. You did a wonderful job coloring on this whole card.

OMG, you did some amazing work with these tulips! I love that tulip image and the way the background fades from blue to red. Amazing work, this is not just a yummy lunch, it's a virtual FEAST! Congrats! Great job!!
