I'm late for the tea party this week. I bet they're all asleep by now - heads resting peacefully on their pillows, because no one would dare try and have a pillow fight with those pillows that were snuck in the back door. So I brought a quilt to keep everyone warm and cozy.
Then again, when I eat Oreo's and chocolate I can't sleep, so maybe I'll have to duck when I walk in the door.
And if you're wondering what in heavens name I'm talking about, please check out the cards in Cindy Motherway's Teapot Tuesday gallery this week Gallery at Splitcoaststampers . You'll get the whole story.

Oh, this is just adorable!! I love those little quilt squares. Nothing says "homey" like a nice quilt! I love how you colored them.
You are not late... I'm told you are welcome anytime!! But you never know if there will be any dessert left!

There you are! We were all wondering! Its good to see you here today. You could not have brought a more appropriate card to the tea party! Big blizzard here today! Everyone is closed down, home early and hunkered down! We have plenty of tea, plenty of pillows, plenty of Marilynn's yummy treats and now a wonderful quilt!
I love the center image and the fun little tea cup embellishment. Love the way you picked up on the coordinating polka dots in the cup and put them in the background. It looks like fabric! Your card is precious.
I feel *normal* now that you are here! Whoo Hoo! Thanks for the link and for coming again this week!

Lorraine, I just love the stamps and colors you chose. I love how you colored in your quilt quips. Great card for this challenge. I love how you did your sentiment. I'll scoot over if you want and you can sit by me. I'm not as rowdy as the others, my tea is caffeine free, but I am eyeing Marilynne's brownies. Nice to meet you.

What a great card! I love it! I'm a quilter (guess you knew that!), and I wasn't all that impressed with this new set...but this just may change my mind! Thanks for sharing this beauty! And of course, I love anything tea!

What a pretty card Lorraine! I love your colors, papers. It's so inviting. Love that SU set, you used it well. I am happy you could make it and the quilt to keep us all warm, for it's spring here but does not feel like it a bit. Great teacup stamp. WOW TFS

You're not as late as me!! I've just caught up with all the cards and guests at the tea-party now. I love the quilt and sentiment. I am afraid the ribbon is just a bit too much like my scool scarf, though...
