Today is Ways to Use it Challenge Day....HOT METAL....or ironing...waxed paper resist actually.
My background was made by scrunching waxed paper and ironing it between 2 pieces of whisper white card stock. I then took my soft sky ink pad and rubbed all of it. The ink resisted where the wax was left from the ironing process producing the pattern on the paper. Pretty cool.
Did the Jessica Knutsen corners...
My little umbrella girl is a D.O.T.S. stamp that I got way back in the mid 90s...OLD but I still love her.
Want to thank Joanne..AngelNorth...for hosting today. Great job.
Hope you like my card.

Oh, the wax paper resist made a fabulous watery-looking background and your little umbrella girl is adorable - great job, glad you had fun with a new technique!

Cute as a button. Love the corners, and your wonderful waxing and fab coloring on your sweet main image; and I was noticing your darling technique challenge basket as well. They are so cute.
