This is the second of three cards I created for the Papertrey March blog hop, a challenge to create your own background paper. I created three shades of paper based on the Basic Grey Sugared paper, using PTI stamp sets, Silent Night and Green Thumb. The puffy flower from Green Thumb looks to me just like the flower in the sugared paper, and you can combine colors to make any shade you like!
I embossed these flowers to make them stand out more and then the more I looked at the card, the more they looked like sea anemones, so the mermaid was my best choice for an image. She is under the water, so I put her under swirly vellum to maintain the undersea look. Thanks for looking! More details on my blog: www.rosesbymywindow.blogspot.com
