Was going through my e-mail late last night, tightening up things, came across this site. It is Tim Holtz showing how he does this very cool background with alcohol inks and a can of air. I thought to myself, hmmmmm if only I had the can of air. Low and behold right at my feet was such a thing. So early this morning before work, I gave his technique a try and really loved the outcome.........details........
Didn't want to cover up this bg, so I made my panels out of acetate and vellum which I ran through the cb using the dotted swiss folder. I then took a black sharpie to the edges so you could see there was a panel there.
Stamped my cute little Whipper Snapper image, don't know the name because it is unmounted. Colored him using re-inkers. Stippled some color around him, sponged edges and then added some faux stitching in the top corners. Popped this up on top of my see through panels.
Well, hope you like this...........TFL :0)
