This is my version of Laura Canale's basket that I came up with, after failing miserably to make her beautifully detailed round-bottomed basket. From my experience, I learned that basket-weaving is harder than it looks. Hopefully, my tutorial will make it easier and quicker for others to make one too.

awesome basket and great tutorial! I made a bunch of the baskets using laura's tutorial last year, but this one looks so much easier to make and it's adorable!!!

I don't know what the other basket looks like, but this one you made is very cute. I think you did a great job of it. I checked out your tutorial on your new blog and it's great and looks easy enough to follow. Have a great day. TFS. : )
The other baskets are very pretty and I tried making one of those other baskets and you are right, it is harder than it looks. I ened up trashing the whole thing. I may just give yours a try, it does look simpler. It's very pretty thanks for sharing.

Oh this is awesomely adorable! I love both versions of the basket! Thanks for your tutorial without those those mini pieces at the bottom...not that I don't LOVE those, but they look so haaaarrrrd to do, hee! Perfect colors and images, too!
