I made this card a couple weeks ago, and forgot to upload it here.
It was for a color challenge to use red, yellow and black.
I watercolored the mixer on watercolor paper, and sewed the background diamonds after lightly drawing the grid with pencil on the paper.
SUPPLIES:
* ALL CD STAMPS USED: Ageless antiques by www.cdstamps.com
* CS and PAPERS: basic grey Offbeat collection, white, watercolor, black, red
* INK: Brilliance black, black, real red, summer sun, white, sahara sand
* ACCESSORIES and EMBELLISHMENTS: Nestabilities dies, waterbrush,sponge, sewing machine, Queen & Co ultra mini brads, black gingham ribbon, PTI pure poppy grosgrain
* COLORING MEDIUM: watercoloring on watercolor paper
* SPECIAL TECHNIQUES: Create pencil grid on designer paper and sew along lines

Ooooh, Laurie...I LOVE how you stitched the background...looks sooo awesome with that adorable mixer stamp!!! Love the papers, colors, and ribbon, too!!!!

Hi Laurie! Your originality and creativity never cease to amaze me...and the background stitching on this, is no exception! Sheer creative genius to stitch the background this way as it so compliments the whole "Kitchen Clutter" flavor and love that beautifully watercoloring red mixer. So retro!
