This is my first outing for some new Verve stamps, Floral Symphony and Miracles Blossom. The third March Viva la Verve sketch challenge calls for a twist of birthday. Here's the link:
The flowers in this paper from My Mind's Eye look like Verve to me! It's called Just Dreamy 2 Enchanting "Cousins" Little Blossom/Blue Polka Dots, a two-sided paper.
The card base is Riding Hood Red. I stamped the stems and flowers from Floral Symphony in black StazOn ink onto Blush Blossom card stock. Went over the stems with a teal marker. Stamped the flowers again and colored them with markers in Ruby Red, Blush Blossom and Taken with Teal. Cut them out and popped them up after paper piercing the panel. The larger blush rectangle is stamped in Blush Blossom with the large and small matching flowers from Miracles Blossom. Then I stamped a birthday sentiment from Verve's Birthday Surprise in black StazOn. Paper pierced all the panels to dress them up. Added three teal brads from Basic Grey's Urban Prairie line. Riding Hood Red striped ribbon finishes off the front. For the inside of the card, I pierced around the perimenter of a Blush Blossom rectangle. Thanks for looking!
