I have been wishing to make a card for the Card Sketch Challenge SC175 for quite some time. Well, I finally got to it!
The kimono is cut from Washi Paper, I crimped the circles with the wavy crimper, the wavy dp came that way in huge sheets from an art supply store. Under that is a moire dp that I've been using all weekend!
I normally wouldn't have added the purple silk cord, but it's holding a piece of vellum inside onto which the message is stamped. I couldn't help but think of Anne Ryan as I made this card! Geez, I wonder why!!!
Maybe too much texture this time? Maybe.
Anyway, hope you like it and thanks for looking!

This is just beautiful! I love the colors and your wonderful kimono. IKWYM about no time to comment. I finally gave up and only try to comment on the challenges I do and comment for those that leave me one. Even that takes several hours and I'm never able to comment on all of them. Thanks for the really sweet comment you left on my Vintage Flower card. I really appreciate the time you took to write it.

You must forgive me, Divine Ms M, I'm not on as much for the past several weeks. I totally love your card, my friend. Oh, it's so very asian, shall I say. I think I'm beginning to like asian....Beautiful card with fantastic creativity to use the crimper and some really neat paper!
