What a wonderful gallery to get into today. There were so many I wanted to CASE, but I chose this one: SC91 Turtle by Twinshappy at Splitcoaststampers
I have been wanting to use this green checked paper for quite a while now, but I could not come up w/ a single idea, until today. I really liked this card but since it was a sketch challenge I changed it up a bit. I changed the image but kept the green galore and yoyo yellow. So....
1 - the base is GG, layered w/ YYY then the green checked which is a bag that someone had at work that I asked if I could have. So it's recycled, fitting the WT209 challenge of green & recycle.
2 - the image is colored w/ Koh-i-noor pencils & baby oil. How do you take care of those paper blending stumps?????
3 - I punched out a small butterfly b/c I cut off the bird image on the spout b/c it was smudged w/ green. That fits the LSC211 challenge of using a bug.
Is it fair to combine other challeges w/ the FS challenge???? After all she was my inspiration for this card. Otherwise it would not have happened. So I hope the challenge police won't come after me.
I also need to apologize to whomever sent me this image. I misplace the enve & have no idea. So if it was someone reading this, please pm me & I will give you credit for this wonderful Spring time image.
Thanks to Beth and guest hostess Judy for bringing us Twinshappy, fabulous galley to enjoy.
Stacy, enjoy your day, you deserve this honor.
Have a great day everyone and thanks for taking a look.

This is very cute and springy feeling! The checkered dp is great, and the tiny butterfly is just so sweet. Great job. Thank you for taking the time to case one of my cards!
