Unfortunately, I need another sympathy card. A friend of mine just lost her brother. I've been wanting to make her a card using Inspired by Nature because it reminds me of the Black Eyed Susan flowers in her back yard every summer. She opens her pool in the summer so my friend and our children can swim and play. It's hard to take our special needs children to just any pool, so we really appreciate that she does that for all of us to enjoy. It gives us a chance to visit her too. I realized after making this card, it qualified for the LC211 (minimal layers and a bug - I don't consider butterflies bugs because they're so pretty, but they are what they are!) and the WT209 (using green in your card). If you have time in your busy day, let me know what you think.

How I've missed this before I don't know....Pam I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are having such a rough time lately. It is a beautiful, natural card with such an earthy feel. I'm sure your friend will really appreciate the card and the feelings behind it. {Hugs}

Don't you just hate making sympathy cards?!! Well, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I love the soft feel of this card. Everything is just right for a sympathy card, too! Great job on this!!!

Beautifully done. Sympathy cards can be so hard to make. This is wonderful...the pastels give it such a soft, muted effect. My sister has this set and I foresee a bit of borrowing in my future...
