This is for todays sketch challenge, sc219.
I had such an easy time with the sketch until it came time to do the ribbon. OHMY GOSH!!!! This ribbon was the biggest pain in the rear end!
I tried about 10 different colors, then I tried layering 3 different colors. Finally after about an hour I came up with this combination. I don't know. I knew I wanted a green accent but I just dont know if I hit the mark. Oh well. Live and learn right?
I used pale plum as my base, and my triangle was already cut from Parisian summer, then I grabbed another piece from the set and used the plaid. I dream du jour out from yesterday, and thought the emblem would be perfect size so I used it.
I used markers for the emblem, outline in perfect plum, and highlighted with pale plum and old olive. Colored using celery and apricot appeal.
I layered the image on apricot appeal, then on perfect plum and pale plum.
The butterflies are done in pale plum and perfect plum, the middle is apricot and perfect plum.

Beautiful card and gorgeous dp. Love it! Sorry you had trouble with the ribbon. I had trouble with the triangle. But, yours turned out great just the same.
