I had a Make & Take booth at a local scrapbooking retreat over the weekend; the gals got to decorate a mug with rub-ons. They didn't get to make the flowers as I just added those to give them a gift idea.
I bought the mugs at the Dollar Tree and then brought the Bright Delights rub-ons with me. They gals really like the simplicity of it.
For my bouquet of flowers, I stamped five flowers from the Big Flowers set with So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie inks onto Whisper White cs. They're punched with the 1/2", 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches and layered with Dimensionals. The skewers were first wrapped with Sticky Strip and then wrapped with Old Olive Twill Ribbon. I added the So Saffron Scallop Circles to the backs of the skewers with Sticky Strip and then added the flowers to the fronts of the skewers. I added buttons from the Button Latte set, too.
Go ahead - make these mugs at a workshop. They're inexpensive and great fun to make. You'll sell a ton of rub-ons!
