as it is my eldest daughter's birthday on Sunday and she turns 13. Bronte often reminds me that she is not a'girly girl' and isn't into lace and ruffles, she goes for a simplier look...hence this card.
As soon as I saw this one of Judy's I thought it would be THE one to case...I changed the following:
-Used a different image, this one is from a RAK from Peggy (aka Marilyn Preston) but affectionately known in our house as 'Aunty Giggles' by my children. Thank you Peggy, as soon as I saw it all those months ago I knew I would use it for Bronte's card!!! I changed the following:
- Changed the DP's
- Used a number instead of a sentiment and changed the place of it.. The number came from the RAK I received this morning from Rosy Eckhardt, Rosy had made her own envelope in an olf calendar page - perfect for what I wanted!!
- Added faux brads on top left corner rather than on the side
- Used Kindy Glitz plus Crystal Effects to give the guitar a shine - to make it 'cooler!'
This is a very Bronte card, clean lined, no clutter and in her favourite colours...I am hoping she likes it - what do you think!?!?
Thanks for looking and for encouraging me along the way - you inspire me to keep on going!

Wow! What a Rockin' card mum! Bronte will love this. The colours are great- and I love the CE'd sparkling guitar. You ROK Mum!

This is awesome! The guitar with that sparkle is awesome, and I love the little design across the middle panel. I think your daughter will love this! I do!
