This week's sketch is a little different but please don't fret! The inspiration card was done by Andee CAte and can be found here: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers You guessed it, we are making pocket cards! I loved Andee's card so much I wanted to use it right away for a challenge - it is stinkin adorable! The pocket cards are much simpler than they look and the directions and template are posted below.
Pocket card directions:
Cut a 8.5x11 piece of cardstock in half just like you would if you were making a plain card. Score down the center just like a regular card. On the center score line cut down from the top with your scissors about 1.75 inches. Close the card. Score across the card right where the end of your cut is. Fold to the front of the card so there is a little flap on the front. Glue down the open side and accross the bottom of the card to form a pocket. Create tag and pop inside! You can make the card a little smaller if you wish by trimming the side and top of your cardstock before you glue it together. Feel free to round the corners like Andee did or leave them square. If you have any questions please ask!
The template below is the INSIDE of the card. The dotted lines are the scored lines.
