I just bought some vellum sentiments for a dollar at Joannes and wanted to try them out with todays challenge...If anyone has any tips about vellum please PM me...I found out that tape tends to show thru so I had to take it off and redo it by using the brads only to secure the sentiment....I also noticed it tends to curl up at the edges as you can see in the photo...But I wanted to give it a try....I wanted to keep this very simple so I just used my CB to make the embossed panel and then added the sentiment with the green brads and popped it out...Hope you guys like it! TFL!

Beautiful! So simple and elegant. Great job.
I also don't like using any kind of adhesive with vellum, so I always secure it with brads or eyelets, etc. or stick it behind another layer of cardstock or glue something on top of it.

This is so pretty! I love the colors and how your photographed it against green! No tips on vellum...I use it in scrapbooking only, secured with brads, and the page protector holds it down. I bet there's something out there though!
TFS!

Love the gemstone brads here...they are the perfect little touch...and your use of vellum on both these cards is wonderful. I tend to be scared of vellum myself, and you've inspired me to drag mine out...thanks!
