I made this card for this week's Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge.
When I first saw the sketch, I thought it was interesting, but I wasn't so enamored with it. It's just a whole lot more "planned" than I usually go with my cards. But, I couldn't sleep last night, so I figured I'd make the most of a bad situation.
I had completely forgotten that Donna Baker had put out a challenge over on Paper Craft Planet for us to paper-piece some DoodleFactory creations. The deadline was February 28, but I just remembered about it last night, as I sat down to try and figure out what cupcakes I wanted to use for this card. I had a flash of insanity and decided to pop some paper-pieced DF creatures in the squares instead.
This card pretty much sums up how I feel about the DoodleFactory stamps. They really are the most versatile stamps I own, and all the creatures work so well together that "Together" they can do anything! (And yes, I did sing the Brady Bunch song the entire time I was putting this baby together!)
