I'm just back from a stamping retreat, and I had a blast of creativity there! Among many other techniques, I experimented with Gesso there, and I LOVE this medium.
This card is created on an old book page using the Gesso resist technique.
I brushed Gesso over the whole page, let it dry, then overstamped the flower image with clear ink and embossed it with clear powder. Then I sponged the whole page with several shades of Adirondack inks.
The background is stamped and embossed with clear powder onto dark blue cardstock, and the same stamp as for the background I also used to stamp onto the Prima flower.
