Today was our Card Making Day for the Australian Bush Fire Survivors, which was hosted by the lovely Ann, a vivacious SU Demo...who not only hosted it but also provided everything we could possibly need for making the most beautiful cards. SU also donated a HUGE amount of retired stock which was quickly snapped up by Silent Auction....there were many happy stampers who walked away with BARGAINS GALORE - the monies taken is being given to the Red Cross for the Bush Fire Appeal - thank you SU for your generous contribution....I was staggered to learn that SU Australia and New Zealand have raised approx $58,131.00 in the past 3 weeks - how amazing is that - so well done!!! Morning and afternoon tea was so generously provided by 'The Bakers Delight' and we are so grateful for their support for this Cause - a fed stamper is a happy stamper!!! LOL!
Thank you to Ann...who never tired of being cheerful, helpful and generally nice...you are such a pleasure to work with and such a generous heart!! Also thank you to you ladies who came and worked so hard, amidst the talking and laughing.....Kate, Chriss and daughter, Leonie, Courtney and Chelsea (both 11 years old) Melinda (aka Melinda80) and Natalie....you girls ROK!!!!
With todays cards our total is 386 cards, with everyone today taking home stock to make more and also cards still coming in from Australia and overseas. Thank you to each of you who has helped make this possible....God bless you!!
