We were to be inspired by a teapot pidgesmom sent to Cindy. It is awesome.
I created this card with lots of goodies that YLM sent to me. She is one rockin stamper and always soooo willing to share. Thanks to her for all she has sent me.... She inspires me everyday...She sent me a card made out of these adorable cardinals.
I used lots of techniques here. Medallion and yesterday's crimped envelope. I thought it gave it the look of the teapot. Cardinals are my favorite bird..

Dawn, I hadn't had the chance to upload my card yet, but you are going to think I copied your card when you see mine. I too did yesterday's technique with the crimped envelope. That teapot just screamed that didn't it. I also did a punched cardinal very similar to yours. I guess all I can say is great minds think alike. I love how your medallion looks.

Wow! That was the challenge yesterday? I didn't even look! What an adorable little cardinal...just precious done like this! I agree with you about YLM, she is talented and oh so nice! But then...look who's talking! You are pretty generous yourself!
I love your card, one 2009 Christmas card down, _ _ _ to go?
I was craving Christmas cookies and fudge and thought if I would make a Christmas card someone might bring me some to the tea party! Snort! Thanks for coming, the link and for sharing this adorable, lovely card!

Well the crimping certainly is perfect for the teapot. Only I think, looking at your card today and all the ones for the TLC yesterday that there is something wrong with my crimper - it barely made the main bit any smaller. Oh well...
And I am so happy to see the little punched cardinal. I'd thought about trying one, but decided to use my stamp and make it earn its keep. And I love the little medallion he's perched on (I did my research today and saw how different the females are. I never knew that before!). It's an altogether lovely card.

Fantastic teapot card, Dawn! Love the punched circle medallion and the crimbed envelope matches Cindy's teapot perfectly! The cardinal is so cute! Terrific ribbon!
