This card is for the SFYTT challenge. I don't know if I'm happy with this card, I really love this new stamp but it's the first time I've inked it up and I haven't done much watercolouring before and quite frankly I think my colouring is atrocious.....anyone willing to give me some lessons????

Hi Kathy, This is adorable. I love the choice of papers to compliment the lovely image you colored up and that wonderful scallop at the bottom. Watercoloring is something that like everything else, you notice improvements with practice. My best lessons were by looking at something I loved an trying to copy what I saw. I have come to love using gamsol with my pencils, and water with my inkpads, markers and reinkers. Keep at it--you've made a great start. Two great artists that I like to oogle over are Cheryl l Rowley and the blog by Paula Tracy called Paper Possibilities.

Kathy, I love your card. I know what you mean about watercoloring - that's my weakness, but I thought you did a great job on this, especially since there was so much watercoloring involved. Had it been bad it would have really shown, but it didn't. That means it's a "WINNER" as always! Thanks for your comments on my cards. I really appreciate it and I'll keep up with your gallery!

Okay, Kathy, let me see if I have this right: you think your coloring is atrocious? Is that what I read? Listen up, girl ~ the coloring on this adorable image is more than perfect. I'm thinking you need to give some of us coloring lessons. And I think you could start right here with me. What a darling card.
