Today we had to pick something from Room Service Home and I chose these place mats as my inspiration: http://www.roomservicehome.com/prodi...umber=gp223701
I needed to make a simple birthday card for a 6yr girl today and this was perfect.
I started out making a big card and use bazzill pink cs as the base. I layered with blue bazzill cs and regular white cs (big lots). I then used my medium square punch and punched 20 squares from DCWV dp and glued them onto a piece of white cs. I trimmed off the access after I was done. I then attached it to the white cs layer. I was given some top notes from my pen pal (jandjccc) check out her gallery: jandjccc's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I took a blue sharpie pen and marked the stitched lines around the top note, then glue onto the pattern paper. I then used purple stickers that I had and spelled the girl's name and added 2 purple self stick rhinestones to the name. Easy Peasy! Now I'm to Michaels before the pool party.
Thanks for a great challenge.

Great card for your inspired mats. Just know the birthday girl will love it. Pretty plaid bg you punched. Looks like a lot of work went into this one.
