Here is a close up of the card I mass produced for the CCC09 Challenge for February. I didn't have a lot of time since I waited until the end of the month AGAIN (blushing), so I looked in the galleries for a nice card I could make relatively quickly. I like cards that are nonsectarian because I don't always know if someone celebrates Christmas or Hanukkah. I really liked this one by Carol_925:
I changed a few things though. I could not find my liquid applique pen (drat!), so I used a white Siglo gel pen instead for the snow dots and coloring in snow on the buildings. I also just stamped the sentiment in SU's white craft ink, rather than embossing it (which would have been nicer, but I was on a time crunch). I also used the opportunity to use up some of the generic cardstock I purchased from A.C. Moore since I prefer SU cardstock now (Sometimes PTI and Gina K. as well)
Thank you all for looking at my card and thank you to Carol for providing the inspiration.
