Here is a sneak peek of a new stamp coming out on March first from Clear Dollar Stamps. Very cool set with lot's of options. Oh yeah, there is a Guest Designer Challenge going on right now. Check it out here . You could be Guest Designer for a month for Clear Dollar Stamps! Fun! Fun!........on to my card.....
When I colored my canisters here with today's colors I thought wow, what a blast from the past! Remember when kitchen colors were Avocado, Harvest Gold and Coppertone? We've come a long way baby! Any way, I thought my recipe would go perfectly with my canisters today. So I printed it out on the computer, cut it out with deckle scissors, and sponged the edges.
Stamped, clear eb and colored with re-inkers my images. Put them on my recipe panel.
Layered this with black cs cut out with deckle scissors, and a white cs sponged pumpkin pie and cut out the same way.
Sponged summer sun on the middle of a white card, then sponged the edges with the old olive. Stamped my Mutnik diamond on the edges.
This recipe is for real and it is oh so good. Doesn't last long in my house! Let me know what you think.......of the card AND the recipe if you try it!..................TFL :0)

Oh, that is the big favourite in my house. We crush almonds and sprinkle it on top before the chocolate freezes and it creates a great colour contrast. Yummy! Loved the look. Now off to make cracker candy as we call it...

I remember these colors in my younger days. I am so glad they have improved. Great idea with this stamp set. I wish you would do this again with your chicken wings recipe and put it up on SCS so I could always find it. lol. Great idea. tfs.

Hi Cath! What a cute recipe card! And yes! I remember when kitchen appliances were Avocado Green, Harvest Gold and Coppertone...that IS a blast from the past! And you have certainly captured it here!
Great sponging on those super deckled edges, too!

These colors have never looked so good, Cathy. That is also a favorite in my house but we call them Skor Bars and I use brown sugar. Butter is a must (no margerine). The best way I've found to have absolutely no sticking is to line the pan with parchment paper. I NEVER use anything else now in all my baking. AWESOME way to display this recipe.
