Inspired by the movie Curious Case of Benjamin Button -Clock stamps (Maya Roads) with the hands moving backwards, stamped on transparency.
I stamped the position of the clock hand so that in a counterclockwise position from the top left, they move from from 11 to around 2.
I use the Brilliance Black ink and heat embossed the clocks for a quicker dry. I also learned that if you put the heat embossing tool too close to the transparency it begins to warp. Sigh.
For the distressed background, I crumpleed a piece of 60lb watermark paper and then brushed Tim Holtz' vintage photo ink pad over to color the raised parts. Then I brushed hard over the entire sheet with the Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink pad to cover the spaces in between.
