I made this card for February VSN challenge, Celebrate Your One True Love. I made this card for my husband, who has been away at a conference since Thursday and will return later tonight.
How ToÂ’s:
The image was stamped and embossed and then colored with watercolor pencils. Then the entire oval was sponged with Distress Ink, matted with a scrap of the leftover brown card stock and attached to the patterned print panel.
The punched corners were also sponged with Distress Ink and attached with brads. The final touch was a double ribbon bow with a brown satin ribbon overlying an ivory (palest brown!) sheer, satin edged ribbon.
The rest of the scraps were used to create an inside panel which was stamped with a romantic sentiment.
