I made this card for the Bittersweet Chocolate February VSN challenge. This is a stamp from a set of two full pages of unmounted rubber stamps featuring more than a dozen Victorian women, embellishments, and sentiments that I “had to have” the minute I saw them. They’ve never seen ink until tonight!
How ToÂ’s:
The image of the lady was stamped in Onyx Black and colored with a combination of water color pencils and markers. After I colored the image, I added a chair and chandelier in gold. Confession: the chair didnÂ’t stamp very well so I went over it with a gel pen.
The sentiment was stamped and then both this and the image panel were edged with wisteria ink and matted on a lavender print and lavender card stock.
The striped paper was stamped randomly with a fine flourish and wisteria ink. I used a variety of Prisma flowers embellished with dew drop centers to add some more color to the card and finished it off with an organza ribbon and bow.
