It seems as though my twin sister (stamp300) beat me this time for the Featured Stamper. I was working on something earlier and wanted to finish it. Then I started on the FS.
The Featured Stamper is Sgtstamper this week and she has a wonderful gallery. Check it out. We were to change 3 things on the card that we case. Here is her card:ODBD Sketch - Lift up Our Hands by sgtStamper at Splitcoaststampers. I knew what dp I wanted to use because I just bought it today.
Here is my story: I started out by using the MS border punch and adding brads. (you know that by just a light hit with the hammer, the brads lay flat on the back side). I know you can cut the fasteners off, but and use glue dots, but mine always fall off. Anyhow, I attached the base of card. I cut the dp and attached. At first I had another color down where the vanilla c/s is, didn't like it...so I added the vanilla after I used the cb swiss dots folder. It makes it look like a 3D effect without the foam tape. I stamped the sentiment onto vanilla c/s with blue ink, added brads, and secured. I mounted it onto the bottom layer. I turned my image differently than hers. The next part took me awhile to figure out something to replace the flowers in sgtstampers card. So, finally I decided to cut a piece of the design from the dp. I used the starlight ms punch and trimmed off the points that I didnt want. I used the white galaxy pen to fill in 4 points. I added a button with embroidery floss to complete this fun card. The image layered is held on with foam tape. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful Sunday.
Bonnie
Please look past the smudge mark on the sentiment. It is on my camera chip and hopefully soon I'll go get it replaced. Thank you!
Things I changed:
border punch
brads
the layered positions of the sentiment
cb swiss dots (she used ribbon)
I can barely keep my eyes open...do you think I better get some sleep?

Bonnie - this is beautiful! What a wonderful sentiment. I love how you cut part of the DP for the embellishment! Thanks so much for playing (and for staying up so late to do so!)
