I made this as a congratulatory card for my very good friend, Cindy (aka Mothermark) who was announced one of the newest Dirty Dozen girls this month. I used Beate's Wednesday tutorial to make a pop up card.
I used SU markers to color the Inspired by Nature stamp and then spritzed with water. I punched the polkadotted dp with my small circle punches for the tops of two of the flowers and used a black brad for the smallest flower.
I also used the SU markers to color every other letter of the inside sentiment.
The totally cool striped ribbon, which fits yesterday's Ways to Use It challenge, is from my other very good friend, Traci (aka Tracim). Thanks, Traci!
I had the good fortune of meeting both of these wonderful ladies almost two years ago now when I traveled to Colorado. They are two of the sweetest and funniest and kindest ladies ever! I wish I lived closer to them so we could hang together.
You can see the inside of this card in the next photo. You'll recognize the photo I used (hee-hee!). Cindy had sent me these pretty hot pink metal dots, so I used them on her stars. Thanks, buddy, and CONGRATULATIONS on an honor well deserved! This card will be coming your way!
This card is also for a challenge issued by jdmommy to make a humorous card as a part of our Doubledog Dare group. I really don't have funny stamps, so I decided to use Cindy's darling avatar picture she used. It made me laugh cause she's such a goofy girl!
Also, my thanks to Dawn (aka DawnL) for the pretty watermark signature she made for me!
