This is my first post with Copic markers. Boy, are they ever fun! I made this card for Sketch Challenge 216 (what a sketch, Kim and Roxie!) and also for the Central Theme for the February 2009 Fan Club, "What I Like About You." One of my favorite artists, like many of you, is Anna Wight ("SweetMissDaisy" on SCS). She is amazingly creative and original, and her illustrations continue to delight us month after month. She is an AMAZING watercolorist, and since that is my favorite medium, I love to gaze at her masterpieces. She has a flair for putting everything together just right: the flawlessly colored main image, the embellishments, the colors, and the papers. If you haven't visited her blog, take a peek and be inspired: http://sweetmissdaisy.typepad.com/sassy_sweet_notes/.
This stamp was illustrated by Anna for Whipper Snapper. She named the stamp "Farm Girl," and it's a self-portrait. I think she is holding one of her young Frizzle hens while the hen lays an egg in Anna's hand.
I haven't added a sentiment inside, but I think I'll say, "We chicks are fine. How are you?"
Accessories: Copic markers, tracing wheel, sponge, white gel pen, circle and scallop circle Nestabilities, Argyle embossing folder, Cuttlebug, dimensionals, paper snips

Oh, no... another Copic convert!!! {I do not like them. I do not like them. I do not like them!} I am trying so hard not to jump on the Copic bandwagon. However, I am simply stunned that this is your first coloring attempt... this is gorgeous! I thought there was supposed to be a learning curve with those things? Anyways, fabulous job as always!

What??? I can't believe how well you color with copics. It looks like you have been doing it forever. Love this image too. I am a farm gal and I had a pet chicken. Adding more to my WSD list. TFS
