Hi! This card was made for today's Ways To Use it Challenge: Stripes.
Now, you know, I always try to think outside the box...However, this morning started out with the phone ringing at 4:24 AM with a WRONG number! Then, since I was awake, no challenge up yet, and NOTHING on CABLE, I decided to COLOR and Highlight my hair! BY MYSELF....This is NOT a wise thing to do...Especially since I have RA, and my hands got tired,(hurt like the dickens), after 12 foils. I figured, a couple here on the left, since that's where my part is...One in the back. And a BIG FAT one right on the cow lick should be fine....Well...NOOOOOOOOOO...Now I have a BRIGHT spot right in my part, ONE lone stripe down the back and a clump of ORANGE in the part...Yep...I'm a walking advertisement for the "Don't Try This at Home" campaign.... Then, the phone rang, again...Same guy, same wrong number...
So, while I was trying to create this card, the phone rang 14 more times...Poor Guy...I hope he figures out soon that "Summer" gave him the WRONG number at the club last night! LOL!
The image was stamped onto Whisper White. I colored it in with Copics and sponged the entire piece with Apricot Appeal. The flower was punched out of a scrap of designer paper and layered. I cut the flourishes with my Sizzix Die. The center flourish is a Cuttlebug Die.

LOL!! Sorry, Faith, your dilemma made me chuckle even though it wouldn't be funny if someone woke me at that hour and if my hair color went awry! Your card is great, by the way! Love that ivy border die.

Fabulous card Faith! Great colors and coloring. It has a whimsical feel to it with the lovely swirls. Love the sentiment. Your hair coloring story is a hoot! You made me smile. Thank you for sharing your talent and your humor.

OH MY GOSH, Faith, you have me rolling! Yeah, I have made the same mistake before, too. NOW I just fork over money to someone else! Anyone that can make my hair look good deserves TONS!
Super pretty card, too, by the way! LOL!
