I needed a sympathy card for a very special old friend who lost her husband shortly after their retirement (doesn't it just figure?!) and they are still young (60-ish) so it was especially hard for her. I also wanted to do a few new techniques for my regular stamp group, so this seemed like a good time to make this card.
I stamped and embossed the main image from Upsy Daisy in Night of Navy craft and embossed with clear EP. I punched out a 1-1/4" circle from plain printer paper and used it as a mask while I sponged in the sky with Bordering Blue. I smudged a little ink over the left side of the moon, but it seems a little like mist to my wishful eye. TFL!

I thought the *mist* or fog over the left of the moon was a great addition. And that was before I read that it was a smudge. Looks like it was meant to be there. I love the card.
