I got this lovely paper-pricking pattern from Fred She Said's blog http://fred-she-said.blogspot.com/
In order to make it easier for my crampy hand, I printed it out and pricked on the back of the paper I wanted to use. This meant that the 'bumpy' side showed on the finished piece, but I kinda liked it that way. I suppose once finished you could turn it over & re-poke all the holes to have it the 'right' way if you preferred....but I digress. The rest of the card is very simple - basic grey bittersweet for the background paper, a decoupage fairy for the main image (Cicely Mary Barker), and handwritten sentiment. I also used that pink pen to add some random dots to the pierced design as the pink pen seemed not to match the rest of the card as well as I'd thought....of course, not until AFTER I already wrote on it.

Wow, that's a lot of paper piercing. My hand would hurt! Pretty backdrop for the fairy though. I will have to check out the blog, thanks for mentioning your source.
