OK Ladies - here it is. My first EVER upload of a card using Non SU Stamps (I can hear a hush fall over the crowd - LOL!!!!)
I feel kind of treacherous in a way as I am a SU Demo and the only reason I got into card making again was because of SU and the quality of the product. The only reason I joined SCS was because I wanted to learn more techniques and get more ideas to use my SU product until I eventually became a Demo. But then ..............
As part of this wonderful community, I have been part of some extraordinary groups and made some very special friends. Friends send gifts. And when friends are crafty, they usually send crafty gifts - like clear mini stamps.
I've had this set sitting around for ages from one of my CCRAK friends. It was super cute but I put it away in a safe place thinking that being an SU demo, I'd never use it. But then more of my friends started sending these clear mini sets and other clear stamps to me. Well, last Friday I splurged and decided to buy a block to use them with. I figured they were going to waste otherwise!!!!
Needless to say, I love these clear stamps and the images. This now means I'll have to break out some of my other clear sets and use them.
So, this card is made for today's colour challenge - the first colour challenge I've done in ages, but the second regular challenge I've done this week!!!! Somewhat of a record for me of late as it's been ages since I've actually had the time and the inclination to do a regular challenge.
I wanted to use this image as it is of particular importance to me at the moment. I began my "healthy eating plan" under directions of a dietician last week. The "plan" is that I am to lose weight so I can have my sinus problem fixed and also, hopefully, we might be able to fall pregnant again!!!!!
Anyway, back to the card - I also used my crimper on this card, a forgotten tool that I really love using, but just forget about.
Oh, and as we don't have Kiwi Kiss here yet, I've used Old Olive.
So, I'd love to know what you think.
