What a very cute box with so many uses. Thanks Lynn! I was in to trying new things these last couple of days. So for this box, I tried using some new masking fluid I had read about. This stuff is pretty cool!
So, on my printed out template, I took the end of a paint brush and put dots of the masking fluid here and there. I also stamped a CDS heart here and there, then took the paint brush and brushed the hearts with the masking fluid. Set this aside to dry.
While it was drying, I stamped and clear eb my cute little Clear Dollar Stamp moose and his party hats. Colored him with copic markers, then cut the images out.
Now that the masking fluid was dry, I brayered stonewashed over my template, front and back. Then I took a gum eraser and erased the masking stuff off. I took a pen and outlined the dots and hearts. I also doodled the edges and the stitch or folding lines.
Popped up my moose and his hats on the bottom. Tied a ribbon in a bow and popped it up on the top. Put some Smartie candies inside and wha-la! Party ON!!!!........so, what do you think:......as always TFL :0)
