cute box and you're right it was easy peasy, Lynn! Thanks for another fun technique today. I chose to work in grey as a tribute to my coastal friend, Carole...she's ckbythesea...I think she has a lifetime supply of grey paper! Hee,hee! Hey, Carole, you can use a whole sheet on this box template, then you'd only have 247 sheets left! We've had fun with this, right???
I was coloring this umbrella image last night thinking of using it on the FanClub sketch, but when Lynn's challenge popped up this morning, I quickly changed my direction. This is a Stamps Happen image colored in Copics, and cut into the circle with the largest plain Spellbinder circle. I added raindrops from an old Mostly Animals stamp inked with VersaMark and embossed in clear. I added the sentiment from Hero Arts inside a label frame from Purple Onion Designs. The Brazzill violet paper was run through the crimper before attaching to my box.
When my sons were young we had a saying that would help to learn the order of the colors of the rainbow. It went like this: Rainbows Over You, God's Blessed Vow.
R=red, O=orange, Y=yellow, G=green, B=blue, and V=violet. They nor I have ever forgotten it.
Thanks for looking and let me know what you think about my happy umbrellas...we need them alot out here in the Pacific Northwest.
I am home today, it's sunny, do visit me one4joydaily

Susan, thanks for sharing how your sons learned the order of the colors. I hadn't heard that before. I love the rainbow colored umbrellas, with this sentiment. Great box!!!!

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high
There's a land I heard of once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow, skys are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream, really do come true!
I love that song and I love your pretty rainbow of umbrellas, Susan! What a great way to teach your sons the color order of the rainbow, too! Great box!

Wonderfully inspired little box of yummies! I so enjoyed reading your little diddy about remembering the colors of the rainbow. I love it when you share your thoughts and insights!
