I used a white crayon to create some highlights in the dress. Colored with Black Stampin' Pastels. Then used sandpaper to lightly go across entire image, which created the faded background. Then used Stampin' Pastels to recolor image to desired effect.

Omigosh! This is just GORGEOUS! Thanks for sharing the technique as well as the card. I especially like the smoky look of the shadows around the dress ... and it looks like maybe the "vintage"? This is gonna be sooooo CASEd!

Okay...*RUN*, don't walk to your mailbox! You *MUST* send this to SU! for one of the "Wow" art categories...don't care if it isn't an SU! font - send it anyway!
