I have often thought of using sewing on my cards, but never made an effort to do it. So today was my chance. Since I was using cloth and needing to make my 8 cards for my Christmas challenge, I planned out this card.
I used fabric with the holly motif printed on it in gold. I sewed it to the white CS, edged the CS with a gold dye pad, and wrapped it with the gold ribbon. Then I used the nestablities to cut out the scalloped circle, hand lettered the Christmas Wishes words and mounted the gold-embossed and cut out poinsettia.
I have even completed the inside of the cards and there is a great feeling of satisfaction in now having 16 cards completed for next Christmas! Although I didn't sign up to do the C Card challenge, I am using the challenge as my motivation. Thank you all!!
