Made for the WT205 Fabric challenge. My fabric is denim from a shirt I bought from a charity shop. I stamped the jeans stamp on the denim and roughly cut the image out. I cut a piece of white CS to fit the image and ran that through my Xyron. Then I stuck the image to the Xyroned CS and closely trimmed the jeans.
I added a small metal brad for the fly button and added 3 matching larger brads at the bottom of the black panel. I used my distresser tool on the red and black CS pieces. The jeans are popped up with 3d foam pads.
I don't have a sentiment that really ties in with this image so I made the "Happy Birthday to a well worn classic!" sentiment on the PC. I found the free Black Widow font at Fontdiner - in the Free Silverware section. http://www.fontdiner.com/main.html
I thought the slightly grungy look fitted in with being well worn! I aded a metal button that I found in my stash which matched the brads colour perfectly, yay!
This card will go to our fifty something good friend Mike for his birthday in May. Thanks Julia for the challenge and for getting me to make a masculine card months before I actually need it - that's a first LOL!
Not a great pic but it's late and dark here in the UK.
