This is for today's way's to use it challenge. The challenge is to use fabric on your card.
My fabric is a yoyo. One of many my grandmother made.
I took an old photo of my grandmother and mom and copied it onto kraft cardstock. I used the aqua painter and elegant eggplant to color my grandmother's dress and sponged chocolat chip around edges. The family stamp is from the Paper Studio. It's on a roller similar to those change the date stamps...
The yoyo is on a paper flower. It started out white and I used the aqua painter to paint chocolate chip on it and then went around the edges with elegant eggplant marker. Stamped some images in eggplant and close to cocoa to give it some movement. Button is from mom's stash.
Both panels cut with nestabilities, sponged on edges and smaller one stamped with Baroque Motifs in Chocolate Chip.
Card base stamped with Script BG in Chocolate chip, sponged and faux stitched.
I figured we could save this and give to my grandmother for Mother's Day.
Thanks for looking.
