Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
When I was a child, (back when gas was RATIONED in the 70's), I lived in Richmond, Virginia. I loved it there. Every weekend our family had a "exciting adventure." One of my favorite places to go was Maymont Park. There were Peacocks all over the place! They were fascinating creatures.
I had a very colorful winter coat, back then...(It's a FAR cry from the black leather coat I wear once in while...)It had huge, FLOURESCENT flowers in Hot Pinks and Oranges in a blurred Monet type print. The Peacocks used to always flare their feathers whenever I would walk by. My dad used to take slides of the magnificent cascades. Shoot...I'm getting weepy! LOL!
Anyway, when I saw this Sneak Peek set from Flourishes I was flooded with memories. I decided to color the image in Copic markers and cut it out. I added Inkssentials pen highlights. The Via brand purple layer was stamped with the peacock feather. I added a spot of white on eye "eye" center.

I love your card and I live in Richmond also I have given peacocks, turkey's and chickens to Maymont for a gift when they opened a new barn in 1981. I have a really cute story about "Ralph" our beautiful 6 foot tail peacock. He was showing off one day and decided that the lady sitting on the bench had something good to eat so he pranced over and with a quick jerk he pulled off her long wig of blonde straw, then ran down the hill. He also untied your shoes so Ralph ended up back at our place in the country for retirement LOL
Thank You for a good memory - Judy

What wonderful colors on this dark dreary morning.
That is a fantastic stamp....will have to watch for it.
I love how you build your card base and back panels as the canvas for your main character !
