A little explanation may be needed for the title--nurses can be a little superstitious at times, especially during a full-moon--if you're gonna get wierd stuff or have strange encounters, it's gotta be the phase of the moon. Or perhaps, it is our nurse sense of humor. Anyway, there are days that I need a card like this--I'm sure administration would frown have issues if I wore it on my badge. However, I'm going to stick this card in my locker and the next time we have "one of those days" I'm going to whip it out and give it to my co-worker.
This was a multi-purpose challenge for me.
1) Using a predefined layout (SC7.
2) Using a predefined color combination (CC140)
3) I’m getting a little tired of always doing my “colored” artwork on white, so I wanted to see how well the watercolor pencils and blender pen work on a dark shade. Admittedly, the colors are less vibrant, but I can live with that. I used liquid glass to add detail to the mice’s facial features at the cherries.
4) I was dying to use this stamp as there are days (especially on a full moon) that it seems appropriate to my world.
The outside sentiment reads: Avoid Fruits & Nuts!
Inside: You are what you eat!
Thanks for looking.

My MIL would swear by this...a retired RN...and heck, I see it in my crazy children!
I love this card - I like the effect of colouring on kraft, I think it suits the mice
