Better late than never, I always say! I was too busy Sunday & had computer problems Monday, but today so far, so good. Only time will tell.....
Anyway, karen, aka k dunbrook, may have a small gallery, but what fabulous cards she has. I had several on my 'list', but chose to CASE this interesting one. Loved doing this, now I will have to find a block of wood. That won't be hard when I order a sheet of cushion cling, but I digress. Here is the card I chose to CASE: rubber band stamp by k dunbrook at Splitcoaststampers
I took rubber bands & wound them around one of my stamps, stamped in versmark on the wood side, then stamped onto white & embossed w/ white, then mounted on Pink Piourette. I changed the flower, the colors, & the birthday stamp is from Impress. I used make-up sponges instead of a brayer. My flower layer is from a Pearlscent Pack from WalMart. I cut out the flower & popped it up for TLC 'Cut It Out'.
I hope you like my late entry & comments always welcome & appreciated.
Thanks for looking.

Your card is beautiful ... love these soft colors and the background you created! I really want to try this background technique using a wood block and rubber bands.

Yikes, karen, is this ever gorgeous! I cant believe you created your own dp! I dont think I've seen the rubber band embossed technique. It definitely creates a wow appearance. Your card is a masterpiece, and nothing less! Fabulous everything on this one, girl!

Karen, what a cool card! I love your description of how you did your background. It really turned out beautiful and has so much texture. The sentiment on velum looks so elegant. I need to bring it out and use it more myself. Anyway, lovely card! TFS
