Hi! This card was made for today's Featured Stamper Challenge: K Dunbrook.
Participants were to CASE, (Copy And Share Everything), a card from the Featured Stamper's Gallery. I chose this card.
I really LOVE how she used the button on the ribbon in her card, so I started searching for a red button. I found one on my old rain coat...Okay, it wasn't old until I cut off the buttons this morning! LOL! After I tied it to the ribbons and twine, I didn't like the result. Great, I ruined my raincoat to get a button that I wasn't going to use...NO WAY...I found this heart. It was in my scrap box because I deemed it "Heart Gone Bad." A week or so ago I tried to emboss the antiqued gold brad, (Yes. The heart was a BRAD!LOL) to make it bright Copper...Well, it didn't turn bright copper...Instead it looked ANTIQUED! LOL! I cut off the prongs and used a glue dot to adhere it to the top of the button.
The rose was stamped on watercolor paper. I used SU! markers to color it and then an aqua painter to blend.
Participants were to change at least 2 things.
I changed:
Color combo
Stamp Set
Piercing into dots
