Ok, so I had this huge pile of tiny scraps of patterned paper that were too cute to ditch and too small to do much with. So I grabbed some scrap cardstock, my 1" square punch, and my pile of scraps and went to town. I started in one corner, laid down a bunch of adhesive first, then started punching and adhering. I tried to be as random as possible, with a couple of colors repeated a few times. Once I had a 4x4 block, I trimmed it down and added it to a 4.25" card base and added a quick image/sentiment.
I'm pretty pleased with the results! It was a very quick and easy way to shrink my little scrap pile -- and I had enough squares to make a bunch of cards in a really short amount of time.
For lack of a better term, I'll call it inchwork! Closest I'll come to quilting, for sure!
TFL, and comments appreciated.
