I made this card as a challenge from Carol, my CTMH demonstrator. It started when she whipped out a piece of scrap paper, a random chipboard shape, and liquid glass. She showed my how to put the DP behind the chipboard and fill it with liquid glass... gave me the scrap of DP and said "Now, you have to use it to make a card".
I dressed up my stamped image by coloring it in (colored pencils and baby oil), sponge the edges with smoky plum ink (as that was the closest purple paper and ink I had), then added the glitter to the water and created drops. After I looked at it for a few minutes I decided "she" needed some glitzing too... so I glittered her earrings and hat band, and gave her a necklace.
I used plan white paper for the background and did a little second-generation stamping to create a printed paper and matted my accent pieces with smoky plum.
Cover sentiment: You remind me of the sun...
Inside sentiment: You brighten my day.
I think it's a great "just because" card for a special friend. TFL
