A co-worker requested a Valentine that she could give her son-in-law. I've seen so many of these cute trees decorated with hearts that I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring, too.
I stamped the tree with Craft Chocolate Chip ink and clear embossed it. Once embossed, I tore a Post-It Note, stuck it along the bottom and sponged in the grass with Kiwi Kiss and Old Olive inks. I removed the Post-It Note and then lightly sponged on Baja Breeze for the sky. The hearts, which were stamped with Riding Hood Red onto Whisper White cs, were punched out and adhered to the tree with Dimensionals.
Since the card is going to a man, my co-worker requested no sentiment on the front, so I just layered it on Riding Hood Red cs and then adhered it to the Chocolate Chip card base.
