I loved looking at all of the amazing pattered papers and journals on the Elum site this morning. Unfortunatly I cannot get the Elum site up at the moment so I cannot add in the link to my inspiration piece, but I will edit this later once their site is back up.
I'd seen these fabulous boxes earlier in the week on this blog: http://wonderfullywhimsy.blogspot.co...inket-box.html and had been mulling over if I wanted to attempt one. All of the pattern on papers on the Elum site clicked with me and I knew I wanted to try the box today with lots and lots of patterns. There's not a stamp in site (that would have been too overwhelming I think!). I used a pack of Amy Butler paper, some ribbon and HPH. It's probably the most time consuming project I've taken on.. it took me probably 4 hours today to put together.
I absuloutly love and am rather pleased with myself. I'm going to give it to my Mum for Mother's Day.
Thanks for looking!
Kathryn

This looks like a project that I would have partially completed, then left undone LOL! Your work is fantastic looking - such great combinations of colors, patterns, and hardware.
